Product Description
The Spectra Precision GL622N pro Laser Level measure tool kit comes with a HL760 Laser meter, C70 rod clamp, RC602 remote control, and is rechargeable with its 10 Ah NiMH batteries and a charger. This rugged, self-leveling laser device features grade capability of 25% and can be used in a wide variety of grading, excavating, and alignment construction and welding applications. The RC602 full-function radio remote control, which offers advanced digital features like Grade Match, PlaneLok and Automatic Axis Alignment, has an intuitive graphic display, as well as the transmitters, which has back lighting for ease of viewing. Contractors can do everything with the remote control that they can do at the laser keypad, up to a distance of 100m (330 ft) away - even from the cab of a machine. The ability to make grade changes remotely can significantly reduce setup time and speed operations. The GL622N can also self-plumb in the vertical position to allow an even wider range of applications such as anchor bolt installation, form, tilt up, and curtain wall plumbing. With its rugged design, the GL622N Grade Laser can survive a drop of up to 1 meter (3 feet) on concrete. The laser also features IP67 moisture and dust sealing to handle the tough outdoor construction environment. Let’s get it straight – the Spectra Precision GL622N is the best laser leveler tool you’ll find – bottom line!

out of the box I was excited to use it. specially on the first project. I had a complicated methane extraction project at a landfill. using H.D.P.E. now I read the directions on how to set it up but they use a ton of 20$ dollar words and was difficult for me to understand. that is saying a lot for a guy that scored a perfect on reading comprehension. anyway. I had to have a solid 3% grade for my pipeline. due to the moisture in the ground. that was being extracted along with the methane. so my pipe has to drain to its designated low points other wise it would render the particular well useless. because of the water build up. my customer was adament about my trench being correct. so I went and bought a high dollar 150$ digital level to protect my company and to QC my work. ( also to make sure the laser was acting right.) so after much difficulty I finally figured out how to use the damn thing.
seems so simple, right? charge it and set your grade point fall or incline...…. but this laser doesn't act like other spectra lasers I have used in the past for other companies. it doesn't matter which way you set the laser up X or Y plus or minus. (+> or -<) you can change that on this laser. so it doesn't have to be facing the up hill side to get up to 25% incline or fall. I truly wish they could have put the directions in a little more lamens terms. it was confusing.
so once that was figured out I double checked it with the brand new digital level, talk about accuracy. I have enclosed pics to prove what I have said. I also figured out that my particular laser was not calibrated correctly. so I hit up amazon and they replaced it with a brand new one even though it was outside of my return policy by two weeks. so kudos to amazon for doing the right thing, all in all dont mess around. if you want a dead on accurate laser spend the money its worth it. saved me tons of frustrating math...… I would highly recommend despite the trouble in the beginning,
