Product Description
This Ryobi JobPlus multi tool is an all-in-one piece of machinery that can get a variety of tasks done around the house. You can use it to clear the grout from your bathtub, sand up some furniture, and even make cuts into wood, metal, plastic, or drywall like you would with different saws. You only need this one tool to do it all; you only need to swap out the accessories. This kit comes with three of them included for sanding and cutting, with six additional sanding pads. By itself, you’ll be able to accomplish what you need right away if you have access to Ryobi’s One+ line of batteries. You’re not limited to Ryobi for your accessories, either. You can use accessories from other manufacturers as well, giving you the freedom to pick and choose which company has a better head for different purposes. You can be sure that this is no exception to Ryobi’s high standards in home improvement technology.

It is a “universal” tool, with cutters for wood, metal (but not too thick), drywall, etc. It has various sanding attachments, and other pieces I haven’t figured out how I can use.
Heavy duty construction folks tend to denigrate the Ryobi brands as not being robust enough or powerful enough, but for a regular DIY person like me, they work great.
However, I removed a star because the tool is part of a Combo Kit of multiple tools that were sold separately. The tool's model number will not register at the Ryobi site and therefore I have a worry about warranty claims in the future. When a tool is part of a kit one must enter the Kit part number and then fields for the individual tools appear under that. I believe there should be a disclaimer or notice somewhere in the description about this.
That being said, DO print out the summary of the order to prove purchase date and staple to your tool's documentation\manual and save it somewhere.
Just my two cents.
I googled and googled and googled and found the repair manual at
[...]
And from that repair manual I can verify the hex key is a 5mm. I bought a big ole T-handle 5mm and wrapped it in fluorescent tape... we'll see how easy it is to lose that monster. Also a T-handle is easier to tighten/loosen..
I have no comment on the tool itself... it does its thing, it seems strongly built and durable.
Anyway I hope the above info helps you all.

Very disappointed with this product, it seems to be an inherent fault.
I’m trying to find out how to contact the seller, this machine is either faulty or not fit for purpose.
