Otherwise it's pretty effective...the results aren't incredibly smooth, but it grinds fairly quickly. You'll need diamond paper to finish the job if you want glass-smooth results (I don't for my purposes).
Make sure you have a vacuum cleaner/shop vac (with a good bag) on with the tube near the contact area to immediately pull up any dust.
I do wish it was cheaper (normal price is $30 or so). Try to get it when it's on sale.
My main objective on this review is to take the complaint of "too little grit on the rasp" to task. These Dremel engineer guys are not in the business of being dummies. This is a 24 GRIT RASP. Not a 220 grit fine sandpaper. By definition the grit rating defines the number of 'bits' of material embedded in the face of the rasp. But more importantly, here's the thing. They picked the 24 grit rating for a GOOD REASON, spacing between bits. If you start with a rasp face that's loaded with grit (like some of these reviewers think they'd like) you know what happens? The spaces between the grit particles VERY QUICKLY LOAD UP WITH THE DEBRIS YOU ARE REMOVING AND THE RASP IS RENDERED USELESS. You end up with a 'flat surface" of grit filled with debris between grit particles and you can't do anything. And depending on what material you are removing you might not be able to get it out of the spaces and have to throw it out after 10 minutes of use. So 'don't cry TO me Argentina', use your noodle when selecting the tool and fitting the application. I bought two more for a total of 3 since they work so well on the 40 year old paint removal I'm doing on a stair stringer siding and I still haven't worn out the first one. if I had one "full of carbide grit" that some of these reviewers seem to desire, I'd have thrown all three away by now and be ordering more. Stick with this rasp, forget about the others.
