Regarding the meter functions, it's pretty crazy how many functions this little meter has. I doubt I'll need all of them, but nice to know they are there if a difficult problem occurs on a repair. The temp gauge is nice, but I find for repairs a non-contact IR is much more effective. But, it's better than nothing. So, 5 stars for the multitude of functions. Dwell is really great for points ignition on old motorcycles and cars.
I was checking calibration on equipment in my lab this week, so I checked this meter for the heck of it. I'm using a Fluke 5100B, and I was pretty surprised at the accuracy. Volts, Amps, Frequency, Duty Cycle, all spot on. Really, like <0.5% error, and usually just a few digits off on the last significant shown. Even high frequency AC volts was right on (up to 400Vac 20kHz). Your results may vary, since manufacturing tolerances and final factory calibrations can vary. But, very pleasantly surprised.
So, for me, super functionality, super high accuracy, super price. Five Stars.
I compared the Innova 3340a DC voltage readings for 1.5 v and 9 v batteries against a Fluke 87 V and measurements were within one or two-thousands of a volt. That is pretty good. When selecting DC volts the display shows 200-300 mV when no measurements are taken. This is due to internal noise from the autoranging circuitry. If I touch the probes together the display zeros out. As I stated, the DC volts measurements I took were very accurate.
I compared resistance readings between the 3340a and Fluke for a variety of resistors from my electronics junk box and obtained excellent agreement between these instruments. Examples of 3340a vs. Fluke: 20.5 vs. 20.4 ohm; 27.0 vs. 27.4 ohm; 101.2 vs. 101.2 ohm; 147.5 vs. 147.6 ohm; 986 vs. 986 ohm; 51.1 vs. 51.1 Kohm; 730 vs. 729 Kohm. These resistance readings were off by only 0.1% on average.
For my 3340a the accuracy is better on average than the range stated in the product literature.
UPDATE Mar 10, 2020: I've had a chance to test the tachometer functions on a lawn mower that has a tach terminal (for the "RPM" function) and a high voltage spark plug wire for the inductive pickup clamp with the "CON" function. I compared the readings of the 3340a with those of a SunPro digital tach and a GTC505 ignition analyzer with a capacitive probe. With both the direct hookup "RPM" and inductive hookup "CON" functions, the average RPMs of the 3340a appeared to agree with the SunPro and GTC505 standards. However the 3340a gave very erratic and jumpy readings making it difficult to obtain an average RPM by eye. (With the "CON" function I had to halve the RPMs because a lawn mower delivers two sparks over the 4 strokes per cycle.) The "DIS" function gave confusing results.
Maybe Innova needs to add some simple circuitry to average or smooth out the jumpy tach inputs. Maybe they need to add basic filtering circuitry to handle electrical noise from ignition systems. Either way the tach functions need some minor improvements to make the display more readable.
This meter is a fine and accurate meter for basic electrical functions and is very well conceived. I hope that Innova does what they need to do to improve the tach functions and make it the great meter that it deserves to be, even if they have to increase the price a little.

Dropped one star for me because there is no back light feature and a magnetic grip on the back would be good but that just my personal take on it. I work on furnaces from time to time and this unit is very handy for that but a magnet on the back would be invaluable. As it is it can be awkward to find a good holding place for it.
Apart from that I would highly recommend this unit.
